How long does a visit to the Terra Technica Museum take?

Most visitors spend about 1.5 to 3 hours in the museum. Depending on your interest and how much you play, your visit can of course take longer.

Can visitors play the machines?

Yes. Many of our pinball machines, arcade games and other gaming machines can be played using tokens.

Where can I buy tokens?

Tokens can be purchased at the reception desk or at the token exchange machines inside the museum.

What if a machine is not working?

Although we regularly maintain all machines, it can occasionally happen that a device is temporarily not working. Please inform the reception desk in this case. Of course, you will receive your inserted token back.

Is the museum suitable for children?

Yes. Terra Technica is an experience for the whole family. Children and teenagers especially enjoy the arcade games and pinball machines.

Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside the museum.

Is the museum barrier-free?

Yes. The entire museum is barrier-free and easily accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with strollers.

Is photography allowed inside the museum?

Yes. Photography for private use is allowed.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available directly in front of the museum. There are also parking spaces for buses and group tours.

Is there food or drinks available in the museum?

Yes. Our American Diner offers drinks, snacks as well as coffee and cake. Additional restaurants are located in the nearby Family City.

What else can visitors experience in Family City?

Around Terra Technica there are many other attractions in Family City, including discount shopping, several restaurants and cafés, Merlin’s Farm, Merlin’s Kids World and the Asia Market.

Are guided tours available?

Yes. Individual guided tours for groups and coach tours can be arranged on request.

Can events be organized at the museum?

Yes. Our event location can be booked for events, company parties or group programs.

Is there accommodation nearby?

Yes. Close to Terra Technica you will find the Jukebox Hotel and Merlin’s Camp.
